A couple ideas- Various things made to look like part or all of the eclipse • the NYC black and white cookies iced to resemble a blacked out sun • round crackers with a dark or black speadv(sweet and/or savoury) •. Round rolls with green cheese (for the moon). Another theme - people were often afraid eclipse signalled the end of the world. Ask your guests to name 2 or 3 dishes they would want in a last meal and build a menu from those ideas.
