Urgent! grilling Branzino: need help fast!

I asked the fish guy to gut and scale 4 branzini and now I'm looking at them and the slits in the body are very small. Should I slit them open more so they butterfly out when they are done? I tried on one and may have mangled it a little. Company is arriving any minute.

They'll open up more when they cook. Just make sure the seasoning gets in the slits.
