The classic rum drink. This is a great cocktail to learn ratios with. At Let's Drink About It, we have different opinions on the ratios in this drink. Ben likes a 3:2:1 Daiquiri while Chris prefers a 2:1:1. In making several examples of this recipe you can get to know your taste and get to know your ingredients. —Let's Drink About It

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1.5 ounces White rum
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lime juice
  • .5 ounces Simple syrup
Directions
  1. Shake ingredients with ice until well chilled.
  2. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

What a relief. A proper daiquiri is so simple that every time I see someone like "here's a daiquri recipe" I'm afraid I'm going to have to quit being friends with them.
