ABOUT THIS COOK:

I’m a postdoc by day, performing cancer research at Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School. After a long day in the lab, my favorite way to unwind is to relax with my hubby, work out, or play in the kitchen! My blog, Cake, Batter, and Bowl, features original recipes for quick, healthy, and inexpensive weeknight meals and indulgent weekend treats.

  • What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
    Lobster ice cream in Maine.

  • What do you cook when home alone?
Breakfast! Usually a broccoli cheddar omelet, toast, and turkey bacon.

  • Your most treasured kitchen possession:
The KitchenAid mixer I inherited from my Great Grandma.

  • The ideal number of guests for a dinner party is:
    8
