Once upon a time I owned and operated an organic cafe' in the East Village in New York City. Now I spend most of my time Upstate in the middle of Hudson Valley farm country. I've been a farmers' market manager for several years and I have a blog where I write about what I find at the farmers' market each week and what I'm inspired to cook with it. My cooking style is wholesome and simple because I believe that when you start with good quality, fresh ingredients you don't have to fuss alot to make a delicious dish. I love to travel and always make a point to visit farmers' markets wherever I go. I've had the good fortune to work with and study from some wonderful cooks all over the world and from time to time I share those experiences and recipes as well.
