I had been miserable in the corporate world for 7 years before I decided that I belonged in the kitchen, doing what makes me the happiest - cooking for people. So I quit my job and enrolled in Culinary School and loved every minute of it. I graduated and started my own catering and personal chef company, The Skinny Beet, which I co-own with my boyfriend whose also a chef. Together, we cook for families, cater dinner parties, weddings and teach cooking classes both in home and at various locations in Boston. I'm now happy and proud to say that I love my job and have never been happier!
