I grew up in the South (US), next to my grandparent's farm, and now live in a beach town in Southern CA. I do a gazillion different things, which is how I like it; teach, act, write, cook, mom, artist, direct, etc, etc.. My friends call me a "plate-spinner" because I run from one thing to the next trying to keep all the plates in the air, going strong. I'm a member of SLowFood, and support our local farmers (I know how important that is from experience), and a certified Chef (CSCA). I have a great love for all things Italian (studied and traveled there), and have developed many recipes with tea as a component (as the Exec. Chef for Algabar Fete du The in LA). I do artisanal catering, not too good with repetition, so really enjoy the development and experimentation over the manufacturing. I obviously have a hard time talking about myself. :D
