I moved from Boston to Paris to study cooking at Le Cordon Bleu and returned to the U.S. 17 years later with a Danish husband, 2 children and previous addresses in Geneva, London and Copenhagen. In our well traveled life, food has been the universal language, serving as a means to express ourselves, connect with new friends and open a window into new cultures that have become our home. Our kitchen table has had countless visitors, while centering and grounding our family around a shared meal. I am often asked where I feel is my home, and I answer it’s where the kitchen table is. Currently I reside with my family and my kitchen table in the San Francisco Bay area, where I cook, write, develop recipes and share my culinary adventures on my blog TasteFood.
