ABOUT THIS COOK:

  • What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
    Chicken feet. I allowed my two Chinese friends to do the ordering during a dim sum outing. Pig's ear w/ lime and chili oil is a close 2nd.

  • What do you cook when home alone?
    Today, kale two ways--for breakfast (w/ whole wheat cous cous, olive oil, a little romano, pepper, and fried egg) and lunch (w/ more whole wheat cous cous and carmelized onions, coconut milk, ginger, a little fish sauce, etc)...

  • Your most treasured kitchen possession:
    I have a funny little vintage nut meat chopper that holds a special place in my heart.
