I'm an avid reader and I love food. I use an online newsreader on my iPad that selects articles it thinks I may be interested in based on my previous reading history. Within a few months of use half of my "top stories" were food articles. I grew up in a restaurant family. I've cooked, myself, but mostly worked front of the house, and in some nice joints. Everyone calls me a chef, but I know the truth (I don't have the chops - literally, my knife skills are weak). I have this bad habit of learning to make things myself and then no longer liking the imperfect versions found in restaurants. A Christmas gift of a pizza stone has just ruined the average pizza joint for me, but I'm much happier eating a new pizza creation every week.
