ABOUT THIS COOK:

My love of cooking grew out of my love of eating and travel. Now I'm working full time with a preschooler and toddler, so it's a bit of a juggle to say the least, especially as the "picky phase" emerges (I hope it's a phase, anyway). I've lived an travelled abroad a lot but now am in the Boston area, and cooking is my way to travel these days! My sisters and I are spread out across the US but started a blog together where we post recipes and talk about food. Mostly the kind that satisfies our sweet tooth.

  • What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
    rattlesnake meat (I'm from Oklahoma!)

  • What do you cook when home alone?
    Spanish omelet/tortilla espanola

  • Your most treasured kitchen possession:
    It was my kitchenaid stand mixer until it blew out (it's fixed, but I'm still getting over it). So nowadays I'd say my cast iron pan (see above re tortilla espanola!)

  • The ideal number of guests for a dinner party is:
    4 (+2, me and my husband) but dinner parties are on hold for the time being until my kids are older.
