ABOUT THIS COOK:

I'm currently an at-home parent. I have a degree in music, but don't get to use it much in my current state. I read a lot, and collect beautiful cookbooks.

  • What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
    Fried, salted beetles, or scrambled pig brains. It's a toss-up.

  • What do you cook when home alone?
    English fry-up breakfast and Earl Grey tea

  • Your most treasured kitchen possession:
    Hmm, my good chef's knife? Or my thrift store cast iron skillet? Those are the two things I use every single day, for nearly every meal.
