I grew up with many amazing home cooks-- my mother, grandmother, aunts, and cousins. The women in my family share recipes and bond over cooking. Now I am a mother of 2, and it is my turn turn to feed a family 21 meals a week. I love to cook as a hobby and as "therapy." I love to try new recipes and continue to tweak them until I arrive at my ultimate version. We enjoy a variety of cuisines, especially Italian, Chinese and Thai. Recently, I have been trying to cook with more vegetables, more whole grains, and less cholesterol. I look forward to sharing recipes with the Food52 community.
