when i'm not playing golf or teaching it, i like to cook. when not cooking or teaching, i'm usually playing golf, and i like to think about cooking when i'm out on the links. my favorite golf partners like to cook, and our favorite thing to do when we're playing golf is to talk about food. pretty simple really.

• What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
  snails. tasted like garlic but the texture is just too wierd.

• What do you cook when home alone?
  depends on the weather and my mood. nothing fancy and nothing that takes more than an hour start to finish because of my schedule.

• Your most treasured kitchen possession:
  huge le creuset pot, the kind you can cook with over the flame or in the oven. awesome.

• The ideal number of guests for a dinner party is:
  my supper club which means 8 or could be just 4 depending on whether significant others are invited.
