I learned to cook from my grandmother and my mom, starting with baking all sorts of goodies, from Serbian Christmas cookies to apple potica. Later I learned to appreciate homemade sauerkraut (whole heads please) and spicy smoked kielbasa. The older I get, the more joy I find in cooking and sharing food with others.
