as a latchkey kid, my mom would call when i finished school and asked me to start dinner for our family. that was at age 9. i purchased my first bon appetit at 12 and i've been a foodie ever since. in june i finally became a sadie and now that i have someone to cook for, my culinary experiments have become more interesting and varied. a co-worker turned me on to food52 and i am officially obsessed!
