ABOUT THIS COOK:

My happy place is in the kitchen, cooking with my 2 children (8/6) or cooking for those I love, like or want to get to know. I love trying out new ideas and recipes...I am one of those "will try anything once" people...I rarely measure things out and sometimes my husband get's in on the action too, he has just become interested in using royal icing...YES! I wrote a kids cookbook (Picture Me Cooking) that is unique and have been on QVC with it - making food for and with kids and making it fun is important to me!

• What do you cook when home alone?
  Anything I want!! I think THAT has only happened to me twice!! LOL If I somehow am home alone, I usually just stand in disbelief that no one is here and then POOF it's over and they are home!!

• Your most treasured kitchen possession:
  My former CD cabinet turned spice/sugars/decorating cabinet, My great grandmothers 100+ year old cast iron skillet
