I am a technology/business analyst (yes, you are allowed to yawn) by day and an amateur foodie/explorer/photographer the rest of the time. {18 Feb, 2012} Strike that. I was an analyst until I took a good hard look at my life and realized that this is not where I want to be. While I sat in front of the computer analyzing business flows, all I really wanted to do was bake and cook and travel. Someone told me once that life is a matter of choices. If you want to live, choose. So I did. I am now writing to you from my apartment in Paris(!) as I spend the rest of this year learning the art of pastry and bread baking at ESCF Ferrandi. I am from Bombay, India - that amazing melting pot of cultures. To say that I love food – cooking it, eating it, sharing it – would be an understatement. I love exploring new places and trying new cuisines, and as much as I love food, it is the stories – of people and places – that inspire me. My blog, Tiffin Tales, is my playground for all things related to food, travel and photography.
