Saipua

Saipua is a tiny but dramatic shop just off of Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It is there, in their rough-hewn workshop, that they design beautiful floral arrangements, offer classes, and create olive oil-based soaps. I love how nonchalant and wild-picked their bouquets look, as if the flowers had just decided to assemble themselves. Saipua's soaps are another marvel of big impact with minimal fuss -- the packaging is simple, and the soaps smell uncomplicatedly of flowers and herbs. - The Editors
