Heat oil in pan and add the mustard seeds when mustard seeds splutter add the onion green chili and curry leaves. fry for few minute then add the carrot stair for few minute

Ask a question about this stepInto the same hot pan add 2 cups of water . When water boils and bubbles add the semolina carrot and mix well.

Oh, I intend to. I'd been mulling over what to serve under black beans, other than rice, for a lunch this Tuesday. This is exactly what I intend to use. I'm not the photographer you are, but if I can get a decent photo, I'll post it.
I just happened to think: I hope you don't mind that I plan to serve it with black beans.

This looks delicious. I usually have a semolina soup as a breakfast with a drizzle of olive oil. I really like the way this recipe is molded as a cup shape.

Just out of curiosity, pauljoseph, could you help me with your title. Carrot is obvious. Umpa is the semolina, right? What does rava mean?
