Place first four ingredients in the food processor and puree (feel free to leave it chunky if you prefer- would also be pretty tasty this way . . .)

Ask a question about this stepSpoon into a bowl and serve with sliced baguette or pita, chips, crudités, or anything your dipping heart desires.
Ask a question about this stepAlternatively, pipe the dip into pepadews and serve "Peppadew stuffed Peppadews." What is cuter than that? ;)
Ask a question about this stepThanks so much barbst! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And good to know about leaving out the mayo--I will have to try it that way-- you know . . . to make it healthy. ;)
Love the vivid color and I'm sure the flavors are just as bright and zippy!
Thanks! And yes, zippy is a great word to describe this stuff! :)
I tried this when it was in the Open House Dish contest. Delicious!
This looks good! I look forward to trying it. Pepperdew peppers are readily available here in London.
peppadews are a South African product. I can buy them at any supermarket, but understand availability in the US can be spotty. My mother tells me that they are sometimes available at Whole Foods in the bulk section.
Interesting! We can get them on the olive bar here in Indiana! I love them! Innoabrd, how are they used in South Africa?
They're used a lot in salads, they are a very popular pizza topping, and they're also made into dips. You also find them stuffed with feta as an appetizer. They come in a mild and a hot version. Both have the sweet and spicy tang, but the hot have a fair bit of heat. South Africans are into mouth-numbing heat!
I get them at Fresh & Easy Market in Los Angeles, right down the street.
Thanks everyone! Peppadews are sweet and slightly spicy little peppers- You can buy them in jars or sometimes on an olive-sundried tomato etc. bar. :) Delish.
That must be dynamite!!!! Good Cookin
What's a pepadew?! It sounds adorable AND delicious.
This looks beautiful and I can't wait to try it at Thanksgiving time (hint, hint) !!!

I just made this dip and it's great. I had to eliminate the mayo since my friend is allergic and it's still a winner!
