Serves 1-2

1 cup chopped heirloom tomatoes (Rose de Berne, Black Cherry, Valencia) Ask a question about this ingredient

1 cup Greek or Turkish yogurt (such as Greek Gods Traditional Greek Yogurt) Ask a question about this ingredient

2 tablespoons lavender or rosemary honey (to taste) Ask a question about this ingredient

1/16 teaspoon fresh ground fennel (to taste) Ask a question about this ingredient

1/8 teaspoon fresh orange zest Ask a question about this ingredient

scant pinch of kosher salt Ask a question about this ingredient

1/2 cup crushed ice, if desired Ask a question about this ingredient

sprig of fresh herb garnish of lavender, rosemary, lemon basil, spearmint or fresh fennel Ask a question about this ingredient

  1. Add your selected chopped tomatoes to a blender.

  2. Add the yogurt to this with the honey, spice, zest, salt, and crushed ice (You can grind the fennel in a spice grinder ahead and use the extra in other recipes).

  3. Process and then pour into your glass. Garnish with a sprig of a fresh herb and sprinkle ground fennel on top to taste as an option.
