1/2 teaspoon grated Meyer lemon or regular lemon zest Ask a question about this ingredient
Heat honey, raw sugar, and water in microwaveable bowl for about 30 seconds, to soften honey and dissolve sugar.

Ask a question about this stepRefrigerate for a few hours or overnight, until the strawberries have released ¼-1/2 cups of juice

Thanks, this is actually a substitute for the ultimate but highly fattening bliss of fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Our Ohio strawberry season is so short that we want to eat them three times a day, but whipped cream three times a day is definitely not an option!
