Serves 6

  1. In a food processor combine the egg, red onion, garlic, salt, pepper, sour cream, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard and pulse to combine and pour into a large bowl.

  2. Add ground beef and quinoa to the bowl of pulsed ingredient and use your hands to mix until combined, not over-mixing.

  3. Shape into a loaf and place on a lightly oiled broiler pan.

  4. Bake in a 350F oven for about 40 minutes. Apply the glaze halfway through baking and serve the rest on the side.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until warmed through. Serve with the meatloaf.

I'm so happy to see this recipe again. We haven't had meatloaf in quite a while, so this is on the menu, as soon as I can get over to the butcher!! I always love your recipes, testkitchenette, so I'm particularly looking forward to making this. ;o)

As the original SlackerMom, I like the first step: put 9 of the 11 ingredients in the food processor and let it do the work! Mr. T. is growing weary of meatloaf, I sense, so I'll probably give him a break and not make this until next week . . . . .;o) But I AM looking forward to it.
