Ask a question about this stepThis is very similar to the very first meatloaf I made for my husband, who was until that time an avowed meatloaf-hater. Adding sausage with its built-in seasonings makes such a difference, doesn't it? Your meatloaf sounds lovely.

I made this tonight and I'm still savoring the incredible taste! I added half the amount of cayenne pepper because as much as I like spice I knew that would be too much for us. I also added to the glaze a can of unsalted tomato sauce to cut the sweetness of catsup. Thank you so much. This is the first turkey meatloaf that I have liked (loved).
