Add milk to a pot and just before it boils, add cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla.
Ask a question about this stepOnce the milk begins to boil, toss in the oats and cook on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes or until the oatmeal looks ready.

Wow. This oatmeal is amazing. My finace doesn't even like oatmeal, but he gobbled this up! I made a few changes...subbed 1/8 cup golden raisins and craisins for the banana and almonds for walnuts (b/c that's what I had on hand). Also, used a packet of Sweet & Low instead of brown sugar. I will definitely be making this a few times a week for breakfast!
