Ask a question about this stepPour the milk on top of the oatmeal and garnish with diced kiwi. For a little extra sweetness, you may drizzle the top with a bit of honey or agave. Serve. Strawberries, mango, and pineapple also go nicely.
Ask a question about this stepVery clever! I would have never thought to have oatmeal this way.
Mmm... I make a rice pudding similar to this, so I know I'd love this recipe! Dessert for breakfast. Oh, yeah.
Have you tried millet porridge at all? Sweeter than ordinary oats and very healthy too. For a dairy-free option I mix millet & boiling water (microwaving gives a more porridge-like consistency if speed is of the essence), 1 tbsp hemp seed oil, oat cream, ginger jam, fresh chopped banana. Mighty nice (and healthy) way to start the day.
