Expandoysters on the half shell Ask a question about this ingredient

4 teaspoons cucumber, peeled, seeded, and finely minced Ask a question about this ingredient
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt Ask a question about this ingredient
pinch of pepper Ask a question about this ingredient
2 tablespoons champagne Ask a question about this ingredient
Combine the vinegar, shallots, cucumber, salt, and pepper in a small dish. Place in the fridge so it chills.
Ask a question about this stepShuck the oysters and place on the half shell (or smile pretty for the fishmonger and ask him to do it for you).
Ask a question about this stepJust before serving, remove the mignonette from the fridge and add the champagne.

Ask a question about this stepHi melissav, I love oysters but couldn’t bring myself to go “raw”, so I grilled them slightly, spooned on the refreshing mignonette and slurped. We love this recipe thank you for sharing it!
I love oysters, but I like them grilled a little before slurping. I do like your mignonette, and hope to try that the next time we grill some!
