Ask a question about this stepI have made this many times since I first saw it! I use only 1-2 T. of flavorless oil, and I'm lazy, so I use a bag of broccoli slaw. Incidentally, my food processor turned broccoli stems into broccoli mush instead of slaw. I've served this to lots of people and they all love it. Thank you!
so glad you liked it! I've used the large grate on my processor, but the small one definitely makes mush, you're right. An alternative is to use a mandoline with the julienne blade, which I've never tried.
Made this for dinner tonight. I used pre-packaged broccoli slaw from Trader Joe's, which made it very quick to put together. Very tasty, loved it. Thank you for sharing the recipe for this!
Thank you so much. I share your strong dislike (okay, fear in my case) of mayonnaise, but I love broccoli slaw. I'm going to try this recipe asap.
This is a lovely recipe. I made some minor adjustments based on ingredients I had on hand -- lemon juice instead of lime, dried cranberries instead of currants, and a bag of broccoli slaw mix. I'm a mayo lover, but this dressing is a refreshing change. I'm serving this with pulled pork sandwiches tonight!
