Ask a question about this stephaven't had ginger beer...but the rest of it sounds wonderful...how would you describe the ginger beer flavor?
Thanks, Lori! To my palate, ginger beer has a much spicier, stronger ginger flavor than ginger ale. I had never actually looked at the Reed's bottle until you just asked, but it is fresh ginger root mixed with sugar, filtered water, lemon, lime, spices and pineapple.
Auld Lang Syne .... who's waiting for New Year's for this? Not me!! Love the ginger beer!
Thanks, wssmom! Cheers!
Like a Dark and Stormy (my FAVORITE drink) except with whiskey and fruit juice. Just lovely.
Thank you, Niknud! I love a good Dark and Stormy, and what I love about this is the passion fruit, which adds an interesting counterpoint to the darker, spicy flavors of the punch.
Yes! Very tropical indeed! A cup of this and it'll be very easy to pretend it's not 41 degrees outside. ;)
Thanks, mrslarkin! Mind over matter, I love it - kind of like me enjoying a hot Apple pie toddy and pretend it's not 80 degrees out. Cheers! I'll drink to that.
Hmmm, gingerroot! I love graperfruit and Jack Daniels and the other ingredients take me away to blue sky, sunshine and tropical air with palm trees swaying...a nice warm feeling.
Thank you, lapadia!
Thanks hla and sdebrango!! How fun would that be? Maybe 2013!
It would be amazing! Btw, I messaged you through the site, though know some have not been going through...I'll be in your city this holiday season - it would be great to meet you!
