Serves 4-6

  1. PREP: Preheat the oven to 350. Butter a glass baking dish.

  2. MIX: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and beat to combine. Add grated potatoes, milk, brandy, molasses, spices, salt and orange zest. Stir until combined.

  3. BAKE: Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish. Sprinkle with additional brown sugar on top and bake until set, about 1 hour in a shallow pan.

My first pone ever and it's absolutely delicious!! The orange and brandy take it over the top.

I hope to get to the Jazz Fest someday (when my kiddos are older - missed the boat on going before children), but in the meantime, I think I will be perfectly happy with your version. Yum! Thanks for the recipe.
