I am not a big fan of beer, but if it's blended into a milkshake, I'm an instant convert. This would be fantastic with homemade coffee ice cream, but in a pinch you can use any premium brand (such as Haagen Dazs "Five").

Serves 1-2

1 cup coffee ice cream Ask a question about this ingredient

1 cup whole milk Ask a question about this ingredient

1 cup beer (I used Samuel Adams) Ask a question about this ingredient

Combine the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Share with a friend or keep it all to yourself!

Sounds tasty, but I don't think I would classify it as a "cocktail". Aside from being a shake, it's lacking a liquor (key to the whole cocktail idea).

I was just saying to my husband that I'd love to make a beer milkshake. Had heard about it at tailgating. I was going to use vanilla ice cream, but coffee sounds much better!
