Whenever I tried to make some roasted nut recipe it never turned out tasting like the fair nuts. These do.

I made these today as the method resembled what I saw at the Completely Nuts booth at the Iowa State Fair. These are as close as I have come to finding a homemade version. These really do taste like the nuts you buy a the State Fair. I used almonds instead of pecans, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Next time I might increase the vanilla, but otherwise, these are great as is. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
