In an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together for about 4 or 5 minutes, or until pale and fluffy.

Ask a question about this stepPress dough into a 10x1 inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Cover with plastic wrap and press down dough. Start in center of pan and pat dough out and up sides of pan. Chill dough until firm, about 30 minutes, or as long as overnight.
