I have a question about the ingredient "cup Crème de Cacao" on the recipe "1975 Dick Taeuber’s Brandy Alexander Pie" from amanda. Is there any substitute for this liqueur?
Creme de cacao has a chocolate flavor, with a little vanilla. So you could try Kahlua with a little cocoa or chocolate syrup mixed in, or use Cognac (which is also called for in the recipe) and add 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup or cocoa to it.
