My name is Brenna. I live in Greenpoint. I do walk to work, I do cook throwback desserts all day, and I am addicted to greens. I like winter and twist-cones and summer and hot tomato soup. 25 years ago I was born under a full moon in Utah, where they like Jell-O and Campbell's Soups and frozen hash browns. I like those things, too.

  1. What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
    Lychees are a wonder of nature--their texture and taste is both divine and weird.
  2. What do you cook when home alone?
    PB and J with apples, "Big Salads" a la Elaine, trail mix, cheese plates.
  3. Your most treasured kitchen possession:
    The tiny, baby offset spatula.
  4. The ideal number of guests for a dinner party is:
    The more, the merrier.
