I grew up on meat and potatoes.....just never had to cook them myself. I learned to bake (thanks to the Martha Stewart magazine Dec./Jan '97/98 issue) before I learned to cook (both of which occurred after I got married in 1997). I work full time as a pharmacist and get myself into way too many 'entertaining' and 'cake decorating' projects in my spare time. Fortunately my husband is always beside me picking up the pieces. I collect cookbooks from all of my vacation destinations....none of which have ever been used. I love to cook for friends and friends of friends and I try to bake treats for the local sherriff's dept. on a semi-regular basis to show my appreciation for their hard work and sacrifices. I believe in practicing hospitality.
