What do you cook when home alone?
usually i make salads, or something with tofu. sometimes though, i just crave a big bowl of spaghetti with a spicy sauce (maybe olives, capers, and red chili), and a generous mound of parmigiano reggiano.
Your most treasured kitchen possession:
my mortar and pestle (but that is a tough call, because there are 5 things i cannot live without: mini food processor, microplane, salad spinner, a sharp santoku, and . . . the mortar and pestle of course!
