I enjoy discovering that cassoulet is really a very clever and delicious way to manage leftovers from Thanksgiving to Christmas meals. Making soups from vegetables harvested from our front lawn garden also pleases me. Reading mysteries and novels reflecting worlds I know not, particularly slices of current times and habits, gives me great pleasure. Our family consists of my husband and myself and our dog, four children and their partners and nine grandchildren. We are very lucky.
