ABOUT THIS COOK:

Born and brought up in the western part of India known as Gujarat. I bet lot of you here might not be aware about the cuisine of my region. Home cooked meals are really a big part of our family. My mom being a very good cook, we always enjoyed eating fresh and right off the stove food at home a lot. So fond of cooking since I was young, I would experiment cooking with one of my closest friend at her place.(as both of her parents worked whereas my mom was a stay at home mom). Lot of times we would have wasted food also and would flush it away in the toilet before anyone comes home and sees that wastage. Lolz..Not a case anymore. I enjoy cooking different vegetarian dishes.I am a vegetarian. I started cooking regularly after getting married and moving to USA along with my handsome husband. (Don't tell him that I called him handsome) I love inviting people over my place and making good tasty food and play some poker with them over enjoying some glasses of wines. I love cooking Indian meals, personally other than Indian cuisine my husband and I enjoy having Italian, Thai ,Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. Other than cooking , I love traveling, reading and canvas painting. Professionally, I am a social worker. I am very passionate about my career and very serious about my work. Right now , I am a volunteer Rape Care Advocate. I worked with different types of people through my field. I love love my profession. So let's take this gastronomical journey together to some different level.
