I'm a home cook and a total foodie. I've been in the kitchen for as long as I can remember. Starting with helping mom in the kitchen with dinners and holiday celebrations when I was little to learning to cook on my own. Both my mother and father had a big part in my learning to cook. Dad is the more adventurous one..throwing things together and making new dishes - while Mom was more traditional. I always use fresh ingredients and you will never ever catch me buying anything like boxed mashed potatoes. ;P
