What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
Tripe. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary in Vienna and we ordered the one thing off the menu we didn't know the translation of (both of us speak German). It was in this delicious sauce and we thought it might be octopus. Upon returning to our apartment, we looked up the dish and discovered we'd eaten tripe. Both of us spent the night moaning "tripe!"
What do you cook when home alone?
Anything with olives. My husband is allergic so I like to take advantage of his absence by making things that call for olives.
