I love to cook and I love to eat. My best childhood memories are cooking with my mother, from a very early age. Sometimes recipes that she got from her own mother, sometimes following recipes from her many cook books (some of them are also from her mother) or written on scraps of paper that she had bound carefully. I have some of these old cook books now in my own kitchen.
