I am a technology/business analyst (yes, you are allowed to yawn) by day and an amateur foodie/explorer/photographer the rest of the time. I am from Bombay, India - that melting pot of cultures, where it is as easy to find a Chinese Dosa (a South Indian crepe filled with Chinese-inspired Indianized filling) at a humble street hawker's cart as it to find authentic Japanese sushi at a high-end glamorous restaurant. Growing up in this wonderful city, with a mother who is an excellent cook and friends who are willing guinea pigs to any cooking experiment, I have grown obsessed with food - eating it, cooking it, and most recently, writing about it (in a tiny blog called Tiffin Tales). My job gives me an opportunity to travel and it's such a joy to get the chance to explore new places, eat new food and meet new people (ahem, guinea pigs).
