Last weekend, aargersi and La452 hosted a potluck (with loads of food52 recipes!) and serious cannonball competition for food52ers in Austin. See the lovely photos they shared with us below and find out who made the biggest splash.
What fun you guys had! And as I sit here in foggy Northern California, freeeeeezing at 57F with misting fog drizzle, I'm having MAJOR weather envy!!! I'm putting on warm socks now because it seems ridiculous to turn on the heat in July in the northern hemisphere......
Such fun! I clearly missed out on a good time -- aargersi is a great host and cook! Would have loved to have met all the food52ers and eaten all that great food.
oh- and a quick correction on the fruit dip recipe for helen's awesome rasberries- that delightfully trashy fruit dip is made by whipping together cream cheese (8 oz) and a tub of marshmallow cream. it is tasty, tasty fun :)
Looks like you had a blast! Hope you enjoyed the Sangria!
It is SO good - we loved it! Again and again :-)

added about 1 year agoWish we could have been there -- especially for the cannonball portion of the party. And great to see so many recipes by other food52ers on the table!
Next time! Maybe during your book world tour? Pool is heated and available for cannonballing year 'round :-)

It was nearly 80 degrees when I left for work this morning - I have pool envy :) Looks like a fabulous, fun time!
