Remember when we mentioned prizes for our 3 most ambitious Editors' Pick recipe testers? We put together a short video (below) of A&M holding the drawing (out of a cowboy hat stolen from Amanda's children) and announcing the winners.
Congratulations and a huge thank you to WinnieAb, MrsWheelbarrow and AntoniaJames -- and to everyone else who has jumped in to help test recipes over the past 14 weeks. You've all helped make food52 an even better resource for cooks. We'll continue to use this community recipe testing system, honing and improving it whenever possible.
These three superstar recipe testers were in the running for the following prizes:

1. A weekend stay on a small-scale working family farm with Feather Down Farm Days
2. A snazzy food52 tote from L.L. Bean
3. Three selections from Rick's Picks' line of delicious pickled goods
And now, without further ado, the results...

Belated congratulations to the winners -- enjoy! Testing the recipes is been great fun -- we've had some excellent meals these past weeks.
How fun for the winners! I love the cowboy hat drawing too, it goes with the fun, friendly tone of food52.
I like the hat!
Congrats ladies! I know that I've certainly learned a ton (not to mention eating that much too) testing recipes week in, week out. Enjoy your prizes.
Congratulations to all 3 of you. You're awesome!!
Oh WOW. No kidding!? This is amazing. Thanks so much! I had such fun testing and got to taste so many delicious things. Thank you A&M!
Would love to know, how many recipes did they test?
Congratulations, you 3! And to echo what Liz said, testing recipes is so much fun! It gives you an opportunity to try new and different things, sharpen your skills and your palate, get to know your fellow Food 52ers. It has been the most fun--thank you Amanda and Merrill for making it happen.
This recipe-testing is so much fun that, if you haven't tried it, I encourage all food52'ers to do so. It sharpens skills and I have found some great recipes I might have easily missed. With the increased volume of recipes flooding the site, even more reason to "sign up"!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THREE TESTERS!!! WASN'T IT FUN !!!!
Wow! What an awesome surprise! This is a real bright spot in what has not been such a great week for me...thank you so very much! Testing the recipes has been extremely fun, so this is just icing on the cake :)
You deserve this bright spot in your week!
I'm also glad that you won the grand prize!! You and your family will have so much fun together enjoying it. ;o)
Soooo, is it WinnieAB (as in tummy muscles) or is it WinnieAaaBee? Inquiring minds what to know! Congrats on the big prize - I think those Feather Down Farms sites sound like a very cool vacation - and that is coming from a completely NON-camper! Have fun in your luxurious accommodations and report back to the food52 community. :-)
My last name is Abramson, so Amanda is right: it's Winnie AaaBee (pronouncing it as Winnie Abe works too, though). I will definitely report back after we go!
Thank you so much, and thanks to all the great cooks who contributed the many terrific recipes I tested. It's been great fun. And speaking of fun, what a wonderful video. I just love watching you two having such a good time together, on this and on all of your videos! I'll think of you, and all the fun you have, and all the fun I and everyone else here has had -- thanks to this amazing community and its resources -- every time I use my food52 bag . . . which will be often! ;o)
Congrats, testers! And thanks for testing my recipes; I've appreciated your comments!
Awesome - this whole process has been so fun! And kudos to the 3 top testers for putting so much time and thought into the recipes ... what a great effort. Amanda / Merrill, if you guys need bigger hats, we have plenty in our neck of the woods!!!
Congrats....have fun WinnieAb at the farm, Mrs Wheelbarrow enjoy the pickles but Merrill and Amanda, the pickles are #3. Anyhow Antonia James, enjoy the tote. Tanks for testing some of my recipes and giving me confidence too that they work, peculiar kitchens and all. Hopefully when I've lost enough weight I can become a supreme recipe tester :-)
This is from your friendly editors at Food52.
added about 1 year agoGood eye, Kitchen Butterfly. The results from the video will stand (unless the winners protest). Just one more element of chance in this drawing -- our memories!
