Loves Food Loves to Eat

March 15, 2010

Loves Food Loves to Eat is a technology marketing professional and food blogger living in Seattle who finds cooking inspiration in anything from a college cookie exchange to vampire movies. She writes with an exuberance about cooking and experimenting, both in her own creations (like Orange Spice Russian Tea Cakes and ArtiChicken Stock) and in her versions of favorite dishes in her mom's repertoire (like Mel's Bean Pie and Three Cheese Monte Cristos). Her recipes are also dotted with insights into the Pacific Northwest's food culture, including local points of pride like huckleberries, JoJos and the elusive October farmers' market tomato. Check out Loves Food Loves to Eat's profile page and fan her here. And just try to say her username aloud three times without it becoming your own personal mantra.

Read her profile Q&A below:

Alligator jerky! What did that taste like?

Like regular beef jerky, but a little... swampy? Maybe it was in my head, but if 'swampy' is a flavor, then that's what alligator jerky tastes like =).
