I think you're spot on about the Cali Chardonnay (queue: Tupac's California Love track as I'm on the left coast), but what about the red lovers out there? I was thinking a light, but fruity beaujolais? Not too heavy, but fruit forward enough to make it seem like a treat...
GREAT call on the Beaujolais, especially a Beaujolais-Villages or one of the lighter crus, like a Chiroubles or a Fleurie. Thanks for the musical matching, as well...Russian River Chard and Tupac will now be forever joined in my mind.
