UPDATE: We have a winner! We consulted Random.org to pluck a winner from the list of generous donors to A Fund for Jennie, and came up with lucky number 15: Candycan! She's won a $450 gift certificate to Outstanding in the Field (the nationwide traveling al fresco dinner party). For more details on the auction, please see below.

Thank you all for your incredible generosity -- and heartfelt thanks again to our anonymous donor who made this fundraiser possible.

Officially, Bloggers Without Borders' fundraising campaign for A Fund for Jennie is over and the auctions are wrapped up.

But we have a late entry to the game.

An anonymous donor from the Food52 community has offered a $450 gift certificate to Outstanding in the Field (the ultimate traveling al fresco dinner party, pictured above) to be auctioned here on Food52. The gift certificate is good through the 2012 season (and there are still a handful of dinners left in the 2011 season too!) and all proceeds will go to A Fund for Jennie

Rather than set up an eBay-style bidding war, we're taking a cue from Food in Jars, who recently auctioned Nine Jams For Jennie by taking donations and choosing a winner at random.

If you are interested, please make a minimum donation of $25 before September 20th at noon. On that day, we'll visit random.org to choose a lucky winner. Donations can be made by clicking on the secure Bloggers Without Borders badge below -- be sure to indicate it's for A Fund for Jennie under "Add special instructions to BwoB". After you've donated, just fill out the form at the bottom of this post to be entered to win the prize.

(Note: To make sure the funds go to Jennifer Perillo's family, please click "Add special instructions to BwoB" after you submit your donation, and write in "A Fund for Jennie".)

Has Jennifer received the funds as of yet? Does anyone know about when the auction actually makes the donation to the family?
