We cook, therefore we potluck. Last weekend, jestei, aka Jenny's in the Kitchen, welcomed the D.C. metro area food52ers into her house in Tenleytown for some serious brunch-time potlucking. While some members of the group have been cooking, canning and sipping together for quite some time, it was the first time Jenny met the majority of the group, and everyone made new buds. Aspic! Lamb galore! The only downside was that Jenny could have used a few more bottles of prosecco -- we like to drink at brunch in D.C. and the rosemary lemon sparklers were a hit. The D.C. group's next outing involves rhubarb. Stay tuned. - Jenny

This makes me want to plan my next trip to DC to coincide with the next potluck! I've been wondering -- any food52ers in the metro Detroit area?
Hi Jenny
Sounds like fun! Would love to be on your list as I live in the DC Metro area.

I am sorry I missed this event.
This looks like great fun.
I'm an Arlington, VA dweller!!! Love to join you sometime! Just made a strawberry rhubarb tart - a version of the Queen of Baking Perfection: Rose Levy Beranbaum. Pretty divine.
How fun... I love this!
I'm positive there are no Food52ers in Indian Wells, but I hope we have one in Los Angeles. I need a potluck! This makes me green with envy!
What a party! Lucky participants!
And have I mentioned that I am soooooooo jealous!
Wish we were all there.
Oh what fun! And I'm so happy you guys enjoyed my sparkler! :)
I love how food52 is redefining the social landscape of food. It is all about sharing.....and what an amazing way to suss out that KEY. Someday I'll bring together a group of food52ers in Nigeria........I hope (when I move back). Till then, I'll enjoy all the inspiration.
I'll come to Nigeria if you'll come to Montana.
It looks like you were having a wonderful time! I hope you have a chance to do this again soon.
NYC/Brooklyn/Long Island I'm up for it!
My best friend lives in Long Island exit 57 off LIE. We need to do this, would be so much fun!!!
I would also be up for this! I live in Bethpage!
I'm in Huntington! (For the time being...we just sold our house and are looking for a place to live. Can you spell stress?)
Also, did I mention, Jenny, that I'm very jealous, too?
Eastern tri-state: NYC, NJ, CT.
Agreed, hmmm...... need to figure it out, Would be so much fun.
So jealous. Think we need to do a tri-state get together.
